I see where people are coming from with this one, but seriously, I think this is going to really warp some kids.
The story is about how a National Guard group in Maine is making life sized 2D models of soldiers, to give to families to keep around the house. They're called "Flat Daddies" or "Flat Mommies" and is supposed to help ease separation anxiety.
As one poster at the end of the article said: "why don't we send the 2D versions of the soldiers to Iraq, and let the 3D versions come home?" I agree.
